The leader of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Activities Department is stoked to begin the fall season.
Activities Director Rod Wiebers tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there’s not much time for rest between the summer sports of baseball and softball, then the start of football, along with the rest of the fall sports, but he is soaking it all in. He says ADM has student-athletes that compete at a high level.
“We have a lot of kids that just work really really hard at work they do, care about what they do and be able to showcase it, whether it’s on the court for volleyball, at a cross country meet, or if it’s our football players on the field on a Friday night, or even our lower level teams, our middle school teams.”
Wiebers is excited to see how athletes are building on from what they were able to accomplish last year, and just for them to get back out enjoying the variety of activities.
