Amber Boyd, age 30, 102 W. Finley Ave, Ottumwa, was arrested for Driving While Barred, Operating While Under The Influence, two counts of Possession Of Controlled Substance, Interference With Official Acts and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. She was also cited for Speeding.
Cung Te, Perry, was driving on Hwy 141 at T Ave when he reached for something on the floor and over-corrected the vehicle, causing it to roll. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $39700. Mr. Te was cited for Failure To Maintain Control, Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability and Speeding.
Nicole Scar, Earlham, was driving on I80 near the 117 mile marker, when she slowed. A vehicle following her driven by Raianthony Harris, Urbandale, also slowed. A third vehicle driven by Levi Dehne, South English, struck Ms. Harris’ car, which then struck Ms. Scar’s car. Ms. Harris was taken to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Ms. Scar had approximately $8000 damage. Ms. Harris had approximately $20000 damage and Mr. Dehne had approximately $5000 damage. All three vehicles were towed from the scene. Mr. Dehne was cited for Following Too Close.
Aug. 9th
An unknown driver was on W Ave at 190th St, when the driver failed to navigate the intersection and went into the ditch. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The vehicle was owned by Winston Stewart, Des Moines.
Aug. 10th
Josie Nielsen, West Des Moines, was driving on Silverado Lane at Nappa Velley Drive, when she hit a guardrail and her vehicle flipped into the ditch. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $10000. Damage to the guardrail was estimated at $500. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
John Moyle, age 42, 1614 Thomas St, Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault and Obstruction Of Emergency Communications.
Danielle Peterson, age 32, 1309 S. Linn St, Boone, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear. The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
