A fun musical entertainment series is coming to an end, with one last performance taking place on Thursday.

Minburn Community Betterment Group member Megan Cline acknowledges that the band Looza Palooza will close out the Meet Me in Minburn Concert series. She reveals that the group is composed of five Adel-DeSoto-Minburn students, who really caught her attention.

“I listened to these guys play. They did a performance in Adel, they are Adel students, they’re sophomores. They are incredible musicians, and I was blown away and I was like ‘you need to come up to the Big Heart Stage and play, and they agreed to it.”

Cline notes that Thursday is considered “Skate Night” at Meek Park, where the concert will be held, and that the Friends of the Minburn Public Library will be serving ice cream sundaes for $5 that will be used to raise money for additional skates. She welcomes people from 7-9pm to come and enjoy the music, as Looza Palooza specializes in 90s rock and roll, and skate around in front of the stage for free.
