
The Iowa State Patrol released more information following a collision that occurred in Perry, which seriously injured an individual.
According to Iowa State Patrol Sergeant Alex Dinkla, a collision happened in the 2200 block of Warford Street approximately at 9:20pm this past Wednesday, August 6th. He shares that a 2005 Toyota Camry, which was fully illuminated, was stationary on the left side of Warford Street when an electric bicycle was traveling west on the road and attempted to pass the Camry on the right side, when the biker clipped the driver’s door.
Dinkla mentions that the rider on the electric bicycle was ejected and hit his head on the raised curb, causing serious injuries. He notes that the bike rider was transported to the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
