As fall sports gear up for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District, a local organization pinpoints ways they assist the athletic program.
According to the ADM Booster Club President Kelly Shull, the organization will listen to coaches’ requests about monetary needs they have, then will try to raise money to attempt to relieve pressure on the coaches. She says the money is used to purchase new uniforms and equipment, among other things to give to student athletes.
“I mean there’s just always the next best thing, and we always want to prepare our student athletes with the best possible things to put them in a position to bring home those trophies and go to state every year.”
Shull highlights a few upcoming events that people can help contribute to enhancing student athletes at ADM. She names the biggest fundraiser as the “Membership Drive” that will be held on Sunday, August 24th and that the ADM Booster Club is planning a gala on January 31st, 2026, plus basketball tournaments coming up in the winter for youth teams.
