Greene County’s varsity football schedule has four dates at home in Jefferson and five on the road. This is the first two-year cycle since 2017-18 that the Rams are a Class 3A program after six seasons in 2A.

Head Coach Caden Duncan’s team opens the season at Boone on Aug. 29, followed by a Sept. 5 date at Linduska Field with Woodward-Granger. Grand View Christian (Des Moines) is the Sept. 12 opponent and that game will be in Des Moines at Saydel High School. The Rams are home vs. the Saydel Eagles on Sept. 19 for Homecoming, then open 3A District 6 action at Perry on Sept. 26. Carroll visits Greene County on Oct. 3 and Atlantic plays the Rams in Jefferson on Oct. 10. The regular season ends with consecutive road games. A trip to Creston is scheduled for Oct. 17, followed by a game vs. Harlan Community at historic Merrill Field.
