On Monday, the West Central Valley Wildcat football team had their first official practice of the season. With camp week over, Wildcat football returns to the turf working past the storms from the weekend.

Jim Lindsay expressed his excitement about practices officially beginning yesterday,

“Like I said, I love practice. So, just getting out there and putting guys in spots and running plays and doing drills and things like that are what gets me really gets me excited and going. I’m just excited to practice. ”

Wildcat football gets their first taste of unofficial competitive action in Madrid, facing off against the Madrid Tigers on Friday, August 22nd for a Gatorade scrimmage.
