The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.
The Board heard updates from Guthrie County Health Services Director Jotham Arber, County Engineer Josh Sebern and County Auditor Dani Fink. Arber shared that they were going to be doing health fairs at local schools. Sebern discussed filling one of two engineering positions, telling the Board that one candidate was really outstanding, with some experience and trainings that will be beneficial to the County.
The Board approved the fiscal year 2025 annual financial report during Fink’s update, in which she discussed the differences in the estimated overall revenues and expenses, and what the revenues and expenses actually ended up being. She also talked about the fiscal year 2026 fund balance update, taking into account the difference from the FY25 annual financial report. The Board then discussed the 2024 state audit report, and how they can work to reduce reoccurring issues and comments.
