Practice is only a couple days old for Perry football. The early season reps show the defense is ahead of the offense.
Head Coach, Josh Vannornam is needing to break in a new quarterback this season after going 2-7 and he mentions defense is typically easier to install.
“I think offense takes a little bit longer time to develop. I would say defenses is little more ahead of the game. Offense, we have quite a few plays installed it’s just repping it and repping it and repping it and make sure kids are doing their job and knowing their job.”
Perry football opens the season on Friday, August 29 at Ogden.
