As the football season quickly approaches, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football team had their media day yesterday, Thursday, August 14th. The Mustangs had a busy first week of practice, as Eli McKown traveled to DCG as he has been following all metro football teams throughout the week.

Scott Heitland and the Mustang football team are just a week away from their first taste of action as the Mustangs play host to the Des Moines East Scarlets at 6:30pm for a scrimmage. The Mustangs officially start the season on Friday, August 29th on the road in Urbandale, kicking off the season against the Urbandale J-Hawks at 7pm.
