The 2025 Cruisin’ to the Square event was held this past Thursday in Jefferson.

According to Co-oraganizer Chuck Wenthold, 11 awards were handed out. Some of the awardees included the Kids Pick Award that went to Carole Custer of Jefferson for her 2025 Chevrolet Corvette, Most Likely to Get a Ticket Award that is chosen by local law enforcement was a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado truck that belonged to Lick N Stick Customs in Jefferson, and Leonard Dickey of Churdan won the Best Car Award for his 1925 Ford Model T, among others.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich said it was a beautiful evening to bring lots of people together for this annual event.

“Very fortunate that and very thankful for a great day and great participation, and seeing folks from near and far. It’s one of these neat kind of tourism, economic development things that we remind folks that these events do bring dollars to town and we’re really excited to be able to get to host a number of these things. Awesome event (and) good turnout all around, (we’re) pretty excited about that.”    

Wetrich thanked the organizers of the event that included Wenthold, Pete Bardole, Jill Morton and Emily Rohner for their efforts to pull this event off again. He adds that there were about 250  vehicles that participated. The full list of the awards and the recipients can be found below.
