As the summer transitions to fall and the Iowa State Fair is on full swing, one member of the Wildcat dance team Scarlett Putney has advanced to the semi-finals of the Bill Riley Talent search. Scarlet competed yesterday at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.

Putney, who performed in the senior division, which is for participants aged 13-21, advanced through the first stage to claim her spot in the semi-finals. Putney, who is also a member of the West Central Valley Wildcat dance team, has faced some fierce competition, but can bring home glory to Stuart and the West Central Valley School no matter the result.
