As the 2025-26 school year in Iowa is around the corner, the leader of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District outlines how he’s teaming up with administrators to ensure success in the classrooms.
Superintendent Greg Dufoe details that he’s been meeting with the building principals during the month of August to determine that they have everything they need before students begin next Monday. He confirms that teachers are back in the building this week, so the principals are leading them through learning sessions and orientation for the newer teachers. Dufoe, who is coming into his 18th year as superintendent, expresses his jubilation for the new year.
“I’m as excited for this year as I’ve been for any year. This place is so great and I love it so much that it’s not hard to get energized to come here and work with all these great people. So, 18 years is a long time and yet it doesn’t feel like a long time. I’m right where I want to be and I’m just fortunate to do what I do here at a place like this.”
Dufoe calls the ADM Principal team “Best in Class” and is anticipating a great school year.
