Jefferson business woman Nikki Uebel is the new head volleyball coach at Paton-Churdan. Josh Cerveny is the assistant coach. Uebel, the former Nikki Winger, is a Jefferson-Scranton graduate who played the sport for the Rams. She talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about why she became a first time high school head coach. “It really is because of the talent and student athletes that are here. They are hard workers who want to have success and for me, I could see that there was potential for a really successful team!”

She added she’s always loved volleyball and as someone who’s had daughters at P-C she’s watched from the stands and when the opportunity to coach came up, she took it.
