As the weeks continue to advance and the Wildcat football team are just a week away from the season opener, Connor Beane prepares for his first taste of competitive action as starting center for West Central Valley as the Wildcats travel to Madrid on Friday to face off against the Tigers.

Having transitioned from lineman to starting center at the beginning of the season, the Gatorade scrimmage provides Beane the opportunity to practice his snaps without affecting the teams overall record. Beane and returning quarterback Colton Lindsay, look to establish a rhythm and bound between center and quarterback before the season officially begins next week.

Fans can attend the Gatorade Scrimmage at Madrid High School on Friday night to cheer on the Wildcats. The entrance fee is a sports drink.
