Many high school athletics coaches use the word “family” to describe the atmosphere they are trying to create. Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan has taken that not one, but two, steps further as two of his assistant coaches are his Father and Father-in Law.

Jim Duncan and Jeff Kruse (Kroo-zee) are veteran football coaches who have been on the Greene County staff in recent seasons and are again in 2025. Webster City, Prairie Valley, and Southeast Valley, are among the coaching stops they’ve made in their careers. Duncan Sr. has Ram linemen under his wing while Coach Kruse coaches receivers and defensive backs. Both will be among the guests on the PM Sports Magazine KG98 Edition on Monday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.

Greene County football has a 6 p.m. scrimmage in Panora vs. Panorama this Friday in preparation of the season opener on Friday, Aug 29 at 7 p.m. in Boone vs. the Toreadors. All regular season Greene County football games will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
