Perry football went 2-7 last year.  Josh Vannornam and the squad is in the midst of week two of practice.

The Perry defense surrendered 37.9 ppg.  They must replace five of their top seven tacklers including the top two Jorge Ramirez and Alec Burgin.  

Jacobo Cerna-Gomez totaled 27 tackles last year.  He also returned a fumble for a touchdown and had an interception.   Nadir Ouahbi is the other top tackler returning from 2024.  Jorden Newhouse accounted for one and a half of the nine team sacks and he’ll be back in the lineup.  Newhouse is hoping to get after the quarterback even more in 2025.

“I wanna get at least three or four sacks this year.”

The season begins on August 29 at Ogden.
