Week two of Perry football practice continues this week. Coach Josh Vannornam thinks the team has a strong group of playmakers.
“From our skill position wise we’re going to have to ask a lot of them. Our receiving that’s probably our strongest unit. Second to our running back probably but Owen (Zander) Rylan (Modlin) will be some guys we ask a lot of. Nadir (Ouahbi) is going to be a guy we ask a lot of.”
Gustavo Drahos returns as a senior, who had a team high 203 yards and 18 catches. Zander had an amazing 21 yards per catch and the now junior has a big goal this year.
“Looking to have a decent amount of tackles maybe a couple of picks and take the receiving record.”
The current single season yards record is 880 set by Ben Daniels in 2013.
The Bluejays are still deciding who will be the signal caller in 2025.
