Greene County head girls and boys cross-country coach Jeff Lamoureux cited the kids when asked what brings him back to coaching the sport, now for his ninth season. “You develop those relationships with the kids and see how hard they work. It’s just a good group of kids and seeing their progress is really rewarding. Plus, running is something I’m passionate about and still do a little bit of.”

The Rams open the season in one week on Aug. 28 on the golf course in Gowrie for the Southeast Valley Coed Invitational.
