The Adair Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Back to School Bash tomorrow evening.

Chamber President Ashley Smith says that the group wanted to do something to allow kids to have a last chance to celebrate before starting school Monday. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio about some of the fun activities that everyone can take part in.

“Inside the community center will be a photo booth set up that one of our chamber members will be taking pictures for the kids and they’ll have some cute little props that they can hold up to take the pictures. And then we printed off some super cute back to school pictures so the kids can sit and color those pictures and then outside the community center we will have some slip and slides going.”

Smith mentions that there will also be a hot dog meal served by the Southwest Iowa Boys and Girls Club, with a lemonade stand, and an ice cream social sponsored by the Chamber, and explains that they do ask for a free will donation. She adds that for the Slip N Slides they want individuals to remember to bring swimsuits and towels, and that the event will be at the Adair Community Building from 4-7pm.
