The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Middle School will have a few new additions to its teaching staff for the 2025-26 school year.
Principal Kim Timmerman tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the school has brought in three new teachers, with Kayli Greer for math, Physical Education Teacher Theo Baldus, and Charlsie Dougherty for history. She notes that Holly Rash will be serving as the new nurse for the middle and high school level. Timmerman highlights that accomplishments she was proud of last year were the academic scores, pointing out growth for the curriculums of English, language, and art, math, and science.
Timmerman explains that there aren’t really any new policies in place this year, but ADM will be testing a new science curriculum that could potentially bring changes to that program in the years to come. She expresses that she loves the beginning of the school year with a chance to connect with a fresh group of students and cherishing the final year with the eighth graders. The first day of school for the ADM School District is on Monday.
