The AC/GC Chargers football team is getting some preseason action in today.

The team will be heading to Des Moines for a scrimmage against the Des Moines Christian Lions. Head Coach Cody Matthewson says that the scrimmage will be a good opportunity to get some experience with how the team performs against someone besides themselves. He adds that it will also be helpful to move players around and see how they do in the different positions where they are needed, allowing him to see how all the linemen, offensive backs, receivers and defensive backs do. One area where this will be extremely important is at quarterback, as there are two players that he is looking at for the position.
