The first game for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team is five days away, as senior Elise Coghlan reveals her favorite themed night.

The Tigers participate in a variety of themed nights throughout the season and out of them, Coghlan pinpoints that her top choice is “Dig Pink”. The initiative around Dig Pink is to raise awareness about cancer in the month of October. Coghlan expresses why she loves playing on that night.

“Dig Pink is one of my favorites. You just feel the love and it’s just a really great atmosphere.”

Coghlan highlights that as a senior leader, she is doing her best to emulate the upperclassmen from last year and make each girl on the team feel included in everything. ADM’s Dig Pink game this year is at home versus Carlisle on October 9th. The Tigers open the year with a quadrangular against Des Moines Christian, Harlan Community, and Council Bluffs Lincoln in Adel this coming Thursday, beginning at 4:30pm.
