Logo belongs to the Minburn Fire and Rescue Department

The Minburn Fire and Rescue Department is doing a debut event revolving around sweet corn tomorrow.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Dan Case, the Highway 169 Cafe pitched the idea to the fire department about doing a fundraiser on their behalf. He notes that the cafe will be serving food from their restaurant, specifically sweet corn and options on their menu as well as bringing in a musician for live entertainment. 

Case details that the meals will be a free-will donation and the money will be used towards purchasing equipment to replace bunker gear, helmets, and boots. The event is happening tomorrow from 11am-9pm at the Highway 169 Café, 417 4th Street, in Minburn.
