With school starting on Monday, volleyball, cross country and football officially kick off their season this week. Wildcat football and volleyball battled against the Madrid Tigers on Friday last week in unofficial action for a Gatorade scrimmage but now prepare for the official start of their seasons.

Wildcat volleyball, cross country and football are all in action this week. Wildcat volleyball kick off the athletics for the week on Tuesday, as the Wildcats play host to the Des Moines Christian Lions with their match scheduled to begin at 7pm. Wildcat boys and girls cross country are on the road on Thursday, traveling to Gowrie Municipal Golf Course for the Southeast Valley Invitational while Wildcat football wraps up the week on Friday with their season opener at Nodaway Valley High School against the Wolverines. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm.

All three Wildcat fall sports are in action this week as volleyball, cross country and football all officially begin their seasons this week.
