Four of the five Perry sports will have their first competitions this week.

Cross Country begins the fun on Thursday with a trip Gowrie for the Southeast Valley Invite.  This will be the first time for Nathan Krohn to see how his runners stack up with other schools.

That same night the McCreary Center will host the first swimming competition as the Jayettes host Algona.

Football has their first game on Friday.  The Bluejays open on the road with a trip to Ogden.

Practice continues at the beginning of the week for all Perry athletics.
