In addition to this being the first day of classes for the Greene County school district and many others in Iowa, it’s also the first day for many colleges and universities. Raccoon Valley Radio reached out to various coaches and activities department personnel and asked what Greene County high school graduates were planning on taking part in a sport in college during the 2025-26 academic year. So far, there are 18 names below with the sport, the school, and the year graduated from Greene County HS on the list. The college/university is in Iowa unless noted.
