Nathan Krohn is serving as the Cross Country coach for both Perry teams this fall. Only one girl is out for the team, Lily Myers, while there are about ten on the boys team.
Coach Krohn has experience leading both programs, but this will be the first time overseeing both teams at the same time.
“To be honest Lily does make my job pretty easy when you have a girl that’s as talented as that. That’s able to keep up and that even put in and help to inspire some of the boys a little bit that makes things easier.”
He did add personalities can differ between the two genders.
“Boys can be a little bit goofier and girls will be a little bit more serious, but overall you know all these athletes have some great attitudes and they all bring these unique qualities and make make this coaching this the sport really easy for me.”
Perry XC will open the year on Thursday in Gowrie for a Coed Meet.
