Fall sports competition officially begins tonight, as the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team will be welcoming in three teams to get off to a quick start.

The Tigers will be facing off against Harlan Community, Des Moines Christian (DMC), and Council Bluffs Lincoln (CBL). ADM senior Elise Coghlan appeared in all 26 matches last year as she shined with a school high of 553 assists with 36 kills in 72 sets played. Senior Macy Person was also a key contributor throughout the 36 games, finishing with 132 kills and 23 assists in 72 sets. Person discusses the keys to success this year.

“Just going one game at a time, not getting too ahead of yourself and staying content, and I think that will get us far.”

Defensively, sophomore Ella Subbert led the Tigers with 44 blocks and accumulated 20 digs as a freshman. 

ADM will take on Harlan Community first at 4:30pm, followed by DMC at 5:30pm, and CBL at 6:30pm. All the matches for the Tigers will take place on Court 1 inside the North Gym at ADM High School in Adel.
