The Cross Country season begins tonight for Perry.  The Bluejays and Jayettes open the year at the Southeast Valley Invite in Gowrie.  The competition commences with the boys taking the course at 5P with the girls at 5:40P.

17 schools are scheduled to attend the meet at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course.  Perry XC Coach, Nathan Krohn, is excited for the weather today.

“Last year when we got there it was just really really hot so having a day in which we’re in like mid 70s is going to be a great thing for us I feel like.  I don’t remember it being too hilly.  It’s a relatively flat course.  Lovely layout.”

Coach Krohn will get his first opportunity to see his athletes tonight at the Southeast Valley Invite in Gowrie.
