Fresh off a season opening victory vs. Collins-Maxwell on Tuesday night in Churdan, the Paton-Churdan volleyball team plays on the road for the first time this season tonight. Coach Nikki Uebel’s Rockets travel to Storm Lake St. Mary’s High School for JV and varsity non-conference play. St. Mary’s lost in three sets vs. Boyer Valley in Dunlap to begin their season. JV teams play at 5:30 p.m. today with varsity slated for a 7 p.m. start.

The Rockets defeated C-M in three sets to begin the season and Coach Uebel told Raccoon Valley Radio she saw plenty of excellent play up and down the lineup. She’s hoping to see a strong performance tonight vs. the Panthers.
