The AC/GC Chargers cross country teams traveled to the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course, and had three medal placements between the two teams.

On the boys team, junior Preston Kent finished fifth with a time of 17:42.53, and the team finished 13th out of 15 teams at the meet. On the girls side, junior Cadence Petersen finished ninth, with Brooklyn Schafer finishing 14th. Unfortunately, the girls team didn’t have enough competitors to score as a team during the meet. Both teams return to action next week, on Tuesday, as they travel to Dallas Center-Grimes.
