With Labor Day on Monday, there are several businesses and entities that will be closed for the holiday in Guthrie County.

In Panora, City Hall will be closed, and trash services will be delayed by a day for residents. The Panora Library will also be closed in observance of the holiday. As for the city of Stuart, the Stuart Public Library, City Hall and the Municipal Utilities will also be closed. Finally, in the community of Guthrie Center, City Hall and the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library are going to be closed. All banks and post offices will also be closed for the holiday, along with the Guthrie County Courthouse, and Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
