
The West Central Valley Wildcat football season officially begins today as the Wildcats travel to Nodaway Valley High School to face off against the Wolverines. Head coach of the Wildcats, Jim Lindsay, looks forward to this match up as the Wildcat and the Wolverines have been rivals for some time.
“We open with a good rival Nodaway valley at their place, so you know its always fun to open the season with the kind of rivalry game. ”
Coach Lindsay shared a final message to the Wildcat fans hoping to see a crowd in Greenfield,
“we hope to see everybody down in Nodaway. It should be a pretty good game and, when you open up with a rival it’s always fun so we just want to see everybody out there and supporting the Wildcats.”
Wildcat football travels to Greenfield to face off against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines for week one of the Wildcat football season. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm.
