The AC/GC Chargers football team already has a win on the season, and the play of the game came from one of the sophomores.

The sophomore class is represented by 12 members on the team. The members include Talon Noland, Caden Larsen, Gavin Pederson, Keegan Gettler, Cayden Akers, Lane Stringer, Ryan Martens, Tyler Wahl, Carson Kading, Hudson Gilland and Blake Ganzer. The final sophomore on the team is Kinnick Froehlich, who had a pick six in the season opener against Panorama.
