Several businesses and entities in Guthrie County will observe the Labor Day holiday with closures on Monday.

All banks and post offices, the Guthrie County Courthouse, and the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office will be closed for the holiday. In Panora, City Hall and the Panora Library will be closed, and residential trash services will be delayed by one day. The city of Stuart will have the Stuart Public Library, City Hall, and Municipal Utilities closed. In Guthrie Center, City Hall and the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library will also be closed.
