It’s a rare occurrence when brothers are playing football on opposing teams. When that’s the case on the NCAA Division I level, it’s even more unusual, and when the brothers are Greene County High School graduates, it’s unprescedented! That’s the case, however when the University of South Dakota plays Iowa State University in Ames at 2:30 this afternoon.

Tyler Miller and Jesse Miller are sons of Mark and Jennifer Miller of rural Greene County. Tyler is a sixth year offensive tackle for the Cyclones and Jesse is a third year tight end for the Coyotes. Tyler is a 2020 Greene County graduate and Jesse graduated in 2023.

The Miller family, in cooperation with Shine On Designs, sold over 250 t-shirts commemorating the game. A portion of the t-shirt proceeds are being donated to the Greene County high school football program.
