It is the Labor Day weekend and there will be several closures in the communities of Perry and Adel, as well as Dallas County happening on Monday.

City of Perry Marketing and Engagement Coordinator Chris Cohea shares that City Hall, the Water Works Office, the Perry Public Library, and the McCreary Community Building will all be closed in observance of Labor Day. However, members of the McCreary Community Building will still be able to access the 24-Hour Fitness Room. Cohea details that the Perry City Council meeting will be moved to Tuesday at 6pm inside the Security Bank Building, and garbage routes will be delayed by one day.

For the community of Adel, City Hall, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the Adel Public Library will be closing their doors for the holiday on Monday. As for Dallas County, the County Courthouse and the Dallas County Iowa State University Extension Office will not be open on Monday.
