Tomorrow is the last big event day for the 2025 Guthrie County Fair.
Starting things off at 8am is the working dogs competition at the Horse Arena, with Bucket/Bottle Calf Interviews taking place at the 4-H/FFA Education Center from 9-11am, and the 4-H/FFA Beef Show at 10am in the Show Ring, followed by the open class show. The 2025 recipient of the J.R. Hodges Award will be announced at 11:30am in the Show Ring, followed by the 4-H Foundation Pie Auction at 11:40am, and a performance by Kile Jackson from 11:30am to 1:30 at the Little Amphitheater.
In the afternoon, the kids can enjoy free face painting and a balloon artist from noon-4pm at the Event Center, with the American Legion Bingo stand opening at noon as well. Once again there will be free carnival rides from 1-10pm, and from 1-3pm there’s a free crocheting demo, make and take paper crafts and make and take diamond art, all at the Art Hall. Starting at 2pm at the Little Amphitheater, there will be a magic and illusion show by Keith West, with a second showing at 4pm, and the Open Class Horse Show will take place at 3pm.
Monster Arm Wrestling will be from 4-6pm, with rabbit hopping at 5pm and the introduction of the new Guthrie County Fair Queen at 6pm at the Little Amphitheater. The Grandstand events for the day include nag races at 3pm, a performance by Sierra Griggs at 6pm, and music by Tyler Richton and The High Bank Boys from 8-11pm, with free admission.
