The Guthrie County Fair is close to wrapping up.

In the afternoon, kids can enjoy free face painting and a balloon artist from noon-4pm at the Event Center, with the American Legion Bingo stand opening at noon as well. Once again there will be free carnival rides from 1-10pm, and from 1-3pm there’s a free crocheting demo, make and take paper crafts and make and take diamond art, all at the Art Hall. Starting at 2pm at the Little Amphitheater, there will be a magic and illusion show by Keith West, with a second showing at 4pm, and the Open Class Horse Show will take place at 3pm.

Monster Arm Wrestling will be from 4-6pm, with rabbit hopping at 5pm and the introduction of the new Guthrie County Fair Queen at 6pm at the Little Amphitheater. The Grandstand events for the day include nag races at 3pm, a performance by Sierra Griggs at 6pm, and music by Tyler Richton and The High Bank Boys from 8-11pm, with free admission.

Tomorrow is mostly clean up, with the release of livestock throughout the day, but every thing starts with a tractor ride at 9am, followed by the 4-H/FFA Parade of Champions at 9:30am, and the 4-H/FFA Premium Auction at 10am. Also at 10am, open class art and agricultural exhibits, along with 4-H/FFA static exhibits can be taken home. The American Legion Bingo Stand will be open from noon to 3pm, with the grounds closing at 3pm.
