On Saturday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team traveled to Orange City for the Unity Christian volleyball tournament. The Mustangs would face off against three teams, and would pick up a 2-0 victory before falling in close battles in their next two matches.

The Mustangs would face off against the Unity Christian Knights first and would begin the tournament with a victory, knocking off the Knights 2-0. With momentum on their side, DCG would battle against their next opponents, Sioux Falls Christian and Bishop Heelan. Unfortunately the Mustangs would battle but fall to both teams 2-1.

DCG volleyball returns to action on Tuesday at home playing host to the Indianola Indians. First serve is scheduled for 7:15pm.
