The Bluejays play at Dewey Field for their first home game this Friday.  Perry is coming off an 18-0 loss against Ogden last week.

Boone comes to Perry for week two of the football season.  The Rams from Greene County beat the Toreadors last week, 36-20.  Boone will compete in District 6 in 4A in 2025 and is projected to miss the playoffs as they share a district with ADM and Lewis Central.  The Bluejays will move up an enrollment class for this non-district contest.

The Bluejays offense managed just 101 yards on Friday.  93 of which were through the air.  Ian Fisher made his debut at quarterback.  The junior connected on five passes for 88 yards.  His favorite target was Owen Zander with two grabs and 51 yards.

The defense forced five takeaways including two fumbles.  Nadir Quahbi and Merhawi Goitom were each able to punch the ball out.
