The Stuart People Active for Library Service (PALS) have an event this weekend.

Members Carol Brewer and Kathy Johnson share that there will be an author presentation from Maggie Rivers, an Iowa author based out of Des Moines. Johnson tells Raccoon Valley Radio what Rivers will be going over.

“Hear how she began writing, how she got published, and how you can too. Learn the writer’s secret to getting your book published. She will share her vast writing know-how with you, and you will get all your writing and publishing questions answered too.”

Rivers has over 30 published works, and has worked with two other authors as a group called the Stiletto Girls. Johnson mentions that Rivers will be presenting at 10am on Saturday at the Stuart Public Library.
