Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch credits the work ethic of the assistants he has in his second year at the helm.

Winkowitsch says he was careful how he approached his first season as the Tigers head coach, because he liked the direction that ADM was going, and was looking to modify a few areas. However, he notes that he took a step back to see what areas needed improvement, but also wanted to develop a trusting relationship with his coaching staff. Winkowitsch is truly grateful for the other members that are by his side on Friday nights.

“These guys work extremely hard in meetings and film breakdowns, and breaking down practices and creating notes and having individual meetings and group meetings, and it’s crazy. It takes a lot of time away from their families, and we appreciate it, so I’m really blessed to have the staff that I have.”

The Tigers have 12 assistant coaches with Dan Austin, Theo Baldus, Jay Campbell, Spencer Chandler, Nolan Gitch, Brent Jambor, Tyler Kubiak, Matt Norton, Ben Perman, Chris Rupe, Trevor Trunck, and Evan Wiebers. ADM is coming off an opening 45-20 victory against Winterset and are preparing for their home opener this Friday versus Ballard.
