A Linden man was killed in a motorcycle crash the last week of August.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, on August 27th, 59 year old Patrick Brady of Linden was traveling eastbound on 310th Street on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. According to the crash report, a witness saw Brady’s motorcycle enter the westbound lane that the witness was driving in, as both were beginning to navigate a curve. The witness entered the eastbound lane to avoid Brady, and claimed to have seen the motorcycle start to wobble before it entered the ditch on the north side of the road, where Brady was then ejected. Brady was transported to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines by Stuart Rescue, where he later died from his injuries.
