Perry Cross Country makes the short trip to Jester Park in Granger today for their second meet of the season.  The Jayettes will take the course at 5P with the Bluejays following at 5:35P.

The girls will send two runners to the meet, Lily Myers and freshman Bristol Gittens.  Myers had a strong showing as the junior finished fourth in the opening meet in Gowrie.

The boys will look to build on the momentum of a sixth place finish in the Southeast Valley Invitational.  The Bluejays had three top 23 runners including Ivan Willett, Edwyrd Steil, and Thad Stewart.

Tonight’s meet will feature nine schools.  Perry will get a chance to see a couple Heart of Iowa Conference foes for the first time as Saydel and West Marshall will be in attendance.  The coed meet begins at 5P for the girls and the boys at 5:35.
