There is one youth soccer program left with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department, but the deadline is this week.

According to JPRD, they are having a U6 Soccer League for any three to five year olds, with all practices and games to take place at Kelso Park from September 8th-29th on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm. Exact practices and games will be set once teams are established. Organizers say this is an introductory program for younger kids to learn the game of soccer through drills and games. Everyone is asked to be at Kelso Park on Monday, September 8th at 5:30pm to find out what teams kids will be on. 

Jerseys will be handed out for the season and must be returned to the Greene County Community Center when the season is over. The registration fees are $20 for community center members and $25 for non-members and shin guards are mandatory.
