The two high school volleyball teams in Greene County are in action today. The Greene County Rams play at Ames High School while the Paton-Churdan Rockets are going to Manson.

Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams are in action at 4:30 p.m. today against the Class 5A Little Cyclones inside the Harrison Barnes Gymnasium. Class 3A number 2 ranked Kuemper Catholic is the other team in the triangular. The Knights are 3-0 with Ames at 4-3 and the Rams 0-3.

Coach Nikki Uebel’s Rockets went 1-1 in the first week of the season. They play the Manson-Northwest Webster Cougars in non-conference play. The Cougars are 2-1 in matches.
