The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Cross Country Team started the 2025 season on the right foot, as junior Ty Miller improved his best time by over a minute, putting him inside the top 25 individually for Class 3A.

ADM participated in their first meet of the year this past Saturday in Johnston and managed to grab third place out of 11 schools, with Miller leading the way in ninth place overall running 16 minutes and 25 seconds. Tiger Head Coach Josh Chapman shares that Miller’s personal best from the 2024 season was 17:43 and now has put him as the 22nd ranked runner for Class 3A.

ADM senior Ty Landphair also PR’d on Saturday by going under 17 minutes at 16:58, which was good for a 15th overall place. With the full team performance, the Tigers moved up one spot to seventh in Class 3A. ADM will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Pella to race against 12 schools at Central College, starting at 9am.
