The Brenton Arboretum in Dallas Center and the Adel Public Library are collaborating for a fun educational program tomorrow.
Library Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the arboretum staff is stopping by to teach children all about birds. She details the program will revolve around the different species of birds within the state of Iowa.
Schwarz reveals that the arboretum employees will answer questions pertaining to birds, and may give some fun facts about Iowa’s bird of the American Goldfinch. She notes the program will be held inside the library community room for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade from 2-3pm tomorrow. Schwarz illustrates the program is free and does not require registration.
